Job Details

  • Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.
  • Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new computer (and/or server), peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs.
  • Establishes functional and technical specifications, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
  • Solve hardware and software issue and you will have trouble shooting skills
  • Understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
  • Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
  • Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds in support of hardware installations.

  • Typically requires bachelor's degree Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Active TS/SCI CI Poly
  • Must have Linux experience
  • Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) or acquire one within 2 months of start date. Inability to meet this certification requirement within that timeframe may result in termination with the client. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND.


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience with scripting, particularly in Bash and Python
  • Experienced using and developing with automation tools/frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
  • Experience with recent versions of VMware (ESXi and vCenter) ZFS Storage administration experience
  • Experience administering Windows based systems including Active Directory and group policies Proficiency with Enterprise level administration of common services such as DNS, sendmail, and LDAP Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency Requires the ability to effectively interact with external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and vendors
