LHH Recruitment in partnership with a company in Oregon is seeking a long term interim Corporate Counsel. This role is fully remote and will last for at least 7 months with the opportunity to be extended. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week, position. Company is looking for candidates that have experience with Construction contracts, Wind and renewable energy contracts and government contracts. Experience in Corporate Governance is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate, draft, and review various construction-related and renewable energy related agreements
- Examine complex situations and provide practical, timely and accurate legal advice
- Assist with advising project and construction managers and others on to ensure that projects comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Perform any other duties required of the role
Requirements
JD and licensed to practice in any US jurisdiction
5+ years of relevant experience
Experience with commercial contracts related to construction and renewable energy
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Technological Savvy
Ability to work successfully in a remote environment
