Our growing Maritime practice is looking for a Litigation Assistant with at least three years of Federal litigation experience. No prior Maritime or Admiralty experience required. The right candidate must be a team player, be organized, detail oriented and computer proficient. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. This candidate should feel comfortable conducting research, doing data entry, scheduling, maintaining case files, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Legal fact and basic legal research
- Assist with case management
- Organize and electronically file pleadings
- Coordinate and schedule calendars
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ years' as Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal
