What you'll do

As a Strategic Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing on Gorilla Commerce s short-term and long-term company strategy through business planning, financial analysis, and supporting internal/external stakeholders.


Daily & Monthly Responsibilities

  • Long-Term Strategy
  • Develop multi-year strategic roadmap
  • Prepare multi-year financial models in support of strategic roadmap
  • Evaluate and execute on growth opportunities (sales channels, M&A, etc.)
  • Monitor industry trends and developments
  • Annual Planning
  • Prepare annual financial plan and quarterly reforecasts
  • Establish/monitor company goals and functional OKRs in support of strategy
  • Business Processes
  • Provide analytical leverage to cross-functional teams on high-priority projects
  • Enable scalability for future growth by improving business process/infrastructure
  • Interact with FP&A & Accounting to develop financial insights
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Support Leadership via recurring reporting and meeting materials
  • Support Private Equity Investors/Board via recurring reporting and meeting materials
  • Assist in reporting for other stakeholders as needed


Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or consulting (preference for experience in e-commerce and/or CPG)
  • Bachelor s degree
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Extensive experience in financial modeling (e.g., Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) and slide presentations
  • Identifies informational needs and efficiently organizes, analyzes, and builds reports from large data sets in Excel or in internal systems (e.g., NetSuite, Power-BI, Toolio)
  • Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity that translates into finding new approaches to business issues
  • Displays strong attention to detail
  • Establishes credibility with colleagues and partners across the organization
  • Strong interpersonal ability, with effective written and oral communication skills
  • Thrives in a high-performance, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment
  • Balances multiple projects to meet deadlines, showing the ability to think and act independently, and with limited supervision
