Sales Engineer
Our global manufacturing client has an exciting opportunity to join their Account Management team as an aftermarket Sales Engineer. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining existing customer accounts within the selected territory, while coordinating and executing complex projects. You will be responsible for generating bid/proposal contract documents for your accounts and seeing the initiatives through to fruition. This division offers a robust portfolio of products with industrial manufacturing applications from new equipment, parts, service and smart monitoring & controls modernization products.
Scope:
- Responsible for facilitating customer relationships and internally drive delivery and technical issues to resolution.
- Utilize consultative sales and customer success methodologies to develop and grow customers to ensure continued sales within their capital equipment and aftermarket services portfolio
- Prepare bid/no bid, tender review and contract review documentation for all current projects (products and services). Define bid strategy, perform bid management, review cost calculations, development of business cases, and manage all related reviews.
- Responsible for sales planning and achieving annual sales forecast by meeting growth targets for designated territory
- Responsible for sales presentations to customers, demonstrating service and equipment upgrade capabilities while establishing Value-Based Commercial Excellence account plans for clients within your territory
- Work closely with Sales, Logistics, Inventory, Engineering & Project Management groups
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree required with several years of inside sales or account management experience
- Experience generating bids/proposals and negotiating contracts for capital equipment and/or related aftermarket services sales required
- Aftermarket sales experience in industrial markets including power & mining, pulp & paper, motor vehicle manufacturing, or rail transportation manufacturing preferred
