Receptionist (Bilingual in Spanish) job in Burlington, NJ


Pay: $19/hr.

Location: Burlington, NJ 08016

Type: Contract, with possible extension/conversion to FTE

Benefits: Health, vision, Dental

Hours: 8am-5pm, with lunch break.


This Receptionist role is the first point of contact for associates and external customers engaging with a corporate office for a large clothing company. Welcomes all visitors and ensures they receive a positive and engaging experience, ensuring their needs are met by directing them to the appropriate associate/department. This associate will effectively manage the phone system and multi-task throughout the day. Often converses with people over the phone in both English and Spanish.


Supports various administrative projects throughout the corporate office.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes and engages with all visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering and referring all inquiries. Presents a positive and welcoming demeanor, ensuring all associates and visitors feel welcome.
  • Appropriately directs visitors and associates to the right point of contact by accurately maintaining department directories and getting to know the areas of business throughout the Company.
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
  • Supports administrative projects with various departments


Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Experience:

  • Requires experience as a receptionist handling a multi-line telephone system
  • 1-2 years professional experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred


Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be professional and be multi-tasked oriented
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to solve problems independently, be proactive, and ask questions.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
