Kelly Engineering has a great long term contract opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer in St. Louis, MO. We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join the R&D team and help create state-of-the-art medical devices.

Responsibilities:

• Work with other teams to ensure new designs meet customer requirements.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using design software.
• Write test plans, conduct experiments, and create reports.
• Review design changes and verification plans.
• Support various engineering projects.

Requirements:

• BS Mechanical Engineer or Biomedical Engineering.
• 5+ years of design engineering experience

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Ability to understand and create engineering documents.
• Strong knowledge of testing protocols and prior lab work and fixture design
• Experience working within a highly regulated industry (med device or aerospace preferred)
• Experience with plastic injection molding manufacturing
• Familiarity with manufacturing methods.
• Mechanical design and tolerance analysis skills.
• Knowledge of testing equipment/software.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
• Experience working with quality teams and providing input for IQ/OQ/PQ
