ImpactBio is supporting Biomerica with the recruitment of a Product Marketing Solutions Specialist to join their dynamic team specializing in personalized diagnostic solutions for individuals suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Biomerica's patented inFoods IBS diagnostic therapy has revolutionized the way IBS is treated and managed. As a Product Marketing Solutions Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in improving the workflow and future growth of their patented and innovative inFoods IBS laboratory developed test to physician groups. The position is based in the Irvine, CA office.

The Product Marketing Solutions Specialist will have the opportunity to manage and drive the logistics supporting current and future launches of innovative medical devices and diagnostics that directly impact patient outcomes. You will be responsible for all operational and project management aspects including, but not limited to optimizing and coordinating customer and sales support and backend processing of our InFoods IBS test.

What You Will Be Doing:

Strategy

  • Drive successful execution of the overall projects.
  • Strategize appropriate go-to-market plan.
  • Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation.
  • Analyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships.
  • Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they're met.


Planning, Resource, & Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional teams through product and service optimization.
  • Responsible for synthesizing the project work breakdowns and schedules into an integrated plan.
  • Define, plan, and manage program resources through partnership with functional managers and outside vendors.
  • Drive the product- and business-planning processes for cross-functional teams.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments.
  • Ensure alignment of product value proposition and business objectives to the project scope and plan.
  • Lead the program planning process ensuring marketing and product requirements are driven by customer needs.
  • Conduct commercial excellence, process and technical design reviews to constructively challenge the team and the organization.


Financial Remit:
  • Develop and manage a project budget including capital expenditure and expenses.
  • Link project goals and objectives to commercial and financial outcomes.
  • Other responsibilities as necessary to perform position.

Must Have Experience and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in technical discipline.

Advanced degree in relevant technical discipline preferred.

5+ years relevant experience in new product launches and project management within the regulated laboratory medical industry.
Experience in Clinical labs, IVD or Medical Device industries is required.

Experience and a history of working with CLIA labs is highly desired.

Experience and a history of working with LDT's is preferred.
Proven ability to lead a product launch. Thorough understanding of all functional work streams in Lab Developed test workflows required.
Proficiency with typical project management, product management and collaboration tools preferred, ex. MS Office.
Self-Starter who takes initiative and is a customer-centric leader who thrives in a dynamic environment to champion and execute customer-centric approaches, ideas, methods, and processes.
Demonstrated analytical, decision making, prioritization and critical thinking skills.
Ability to communicate across matrixed environment and inter-departmentally with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
High level of demonstrated business acumen integrated across finance, marketing, sales, service, R&D, and manufacturing.
Proven ability to successfully influence people and teams at all levels. Success building employee engagement; creating, communicating, and building understanding of a shared vision.
Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts and ambiguity to drive clarity and deliver results.
Travel requirements less than 10% of time.
