Responsibilities
- Perform required quality checks on parts and record on appropriate inspection sheets
- File all completed quality records in designated storage areas
- Identify nonconforming material; sort and rework if required
- 5S responsibilities include organizing guage room, disposal or parts and being involved with activities
- Execute all job responsibilities in accordance with ISO/TS 16949 requirements
- Actively participate in the quality process and incorporate zero defects standard in all work
- Work within a team environment
Qualifications
- Minimum Education H.S. Diploma or GED.
- Close attention to detail required.
- One or more years experience in the Automotive Industry.
- Basic math, reading, comprehension and computer skills.
- Computer literate; ability to use software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to use proper tools and protective equipment to perform destruct tests
- Ability to efficiently use basic hand measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, torque wrenches and scales.
- Previous experience and/or education with an emphasis on quality is considered an asset
- Good attendance
- Acceptable score on Quality Skills test
- History of good quality practice
