**Upscale, small, oceanfront boutique resort on sprawling grounds is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer with expertise in project management. The Chief Engineer will oversee the supervision and implementation of all property, equipment, preventive maintenance & repairs, snow removal, monitoring life safety systems & utilities and leading the department in compliance with all codes and regulations. Preventative maintenance and repair will include mechanical/electrical systems and equipment and overall maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, grounds, fixtures, furniture and equipment. Will also manage capital projects.**
**Requirements for this attractive opportunity include:**
**** **Professional training or certification in building related trades required in at least one of these areas: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry.**
**** **Highly skilled in multiple areas such as electrical, HVAC, carpentry, dry walling, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping.**
**** **3+ years of hands-on experience.**
**** **Luxury hotel or estate experience preferred.**
**** **Outstanding leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills**
