Pride Health is hiring for a Medical Assistant to support our client s medical facility based in Mequon, WI. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Duties:
- Responsible for pre-visit planning standard rooming responsibilities assisting with procedures discharge instructions and other duties as assigned.
- Helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patients visit.
- May be required to cross train and float as needed to maintain optimal clinic operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
- Certification through the AAMA and/or an equal certification board or certification is preferred.
In addition, individuals must meet one (1) of the following combinations of education and experience:
A. A graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant Program (Associate Diploma or Certificate).
B. A graduate of a non CAAHEP or ABHES Medical Assistant program (Associate diploma or Certificate) or Military Medic/Corpsman training. In addition to education three (3) years of formal on the job Medical Assistant experience required.
C. Currently possess and are in good standing with at least one of the following credentials:
a. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
b. Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
c. Assessment Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OE)

Schedule: Mon: 8:45 am to 4:45 pm, Tue: 8:45 am to 5:30 pm, Wed: 7:45 am to 6:00 pm, Thu: 8:45 am to 5:30 pm, Fri: 9:45 am to 4:30 pm
Pay Range: $18 to $23/hr
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
