Job Description

The Administrative Assistant will work to provide support to the Commercial Insurance Property Team. This role is responsible for providing various types of administrative support, including special projects. Responsibilities may include:

Job Description:

  • Proactive calendar management
  • Answering and screening phone calls and emails
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings. Including organizing meeting logistics as applicable
  • Coordinate travel: Working with internal and external contacts to prepare detailed travel itineraries, coordinate commercial flights, dining, and ground transportation; prepare and process required documentation to travel
  • Prepare/Process expense reports
  • Drafting correspondence, reports, and presentation slides
  • Coordinating and managing special projects
  • Assisting with the preparation of presentations and documents
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment


Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Excellent communications skills, including ability to handle confidential issues, and calls/visits from senior management with poise and a strong personal presence.
  • High degree of professionalism and dependability and a demonstrated ability to handle confidential information and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel)
  • Demonstrated organizational skills to handle multiple projects
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • 3-5 years prior experience in an administrative role is preferred
