Responsibilities / Tasks

  • independently sets up and machines used as well as new centrifuge parts on an engine lathe
  • Uses a spinning lathe to install claddings or rings.
  • Sets up measuring tools and checks pertinent dimension. Responsible for own quality
  • Uses machine tools such as milling machines and drill presses as well as hand tools to manufacture features such as grooves or cutouts. Drills for and installs rivets in centripetal pumps.
  • Reviews and completes required documentation and administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Identifies damages such as corrosion, fractures or heat-effected zones and repairs damages as necessary.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Follows all applicable QHSE rules and regulatory requirements.
  • Fulfills additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
