Brief Description
We are in search of a Social Media Manager with an undying passion for sports to manage the social media accounts for all Certor Sports brands (Schutt, VICIS, and TUCCI). The Social Media Manager will be responsible for building a best-in-class social media, email marketing experience, and influencer program, which promotes our brands (Schutt, VICIS, and TUCCI), products, events, and overall organization across relevant social media channels and email correspondence. Using social media and email marketing to drive engagement, traffic, and conversion within our expanding E-Commerce business will be a primary focus. Additionally, you will work with our cross functional teams including Sales, Recruiting, Customer Service, etc., to increase our overall social media presence, visibility, and impact of our brands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for the Certor Sports (Schutt, VICIS, and TUCCI) paid and organic social media, email marketing, and influencer program strategy and day-to-day operations across our current social medial channels and for expanding it to relevant new channels.
- Schedule and publish content across all Certor Sports (Schutt, VICIS, and TUCCI) social media channels and email marketing.
- Own both paid and organic social media management and email marketing across our portfolio of products, brands, etc. into the relevant channels.
- Respond/reply to direct messages and comments, as well as proactively comment on relevant posts within the industry.
- Develop and track metrics to measure success.
- Curate content calendars to track posts, creative, and performance across all channels.
- Learn and understand our brands, products, business functions, etc., to be able to create a meaningful message and content.
- Craft original content to enhance our products and brands.
- Collaborate with our clients and partners to positively leverage our relationships and brands.
- Constantly improve our social media presence and email marketing with fresh ideas, campaigns, content, methods, etc.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- First and foremost, our ideal candidate will be someone with a passion for sports and would give anything to work in the industry.
- Experience with content creation and management tools, including Canva, Adobe Suite, MailChimp, as well as Reels or TikToks in-app or with a video editing program.
- The ability to analyze, interpret, and present data showing the results of social media campaigns.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, keep them on schedule, adjust on the fly, and follow them to completion.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and digital communication skills.
- A professional presence and the ability to collaborate with various teams to ensure their desired message is communicated. Provide strategic guidance to our teams and departments for their social media campaigns.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- A digital native with 3+ years of successful social media experience, including content creation, and promotions.
- Email Marketing Experience is a plus, as is experience with Mailchimp or comparable email marketing platforms.
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, or other relevant field.
- Exceptional skills with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Summary
