POSITION OVERVIEW:
As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consumer-packed goods, demonstrating fact based selling stories, strategic thinking, and a passion for achieving sales targets, through data collection. This role reports directly to the Divisional Sales Manager.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Account Management:
- Develop and execute comprehensive plans to achieve sales targets and market share growth.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and challenges.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships, understand go-to-business strategy (omnichannel), review process, and key dates.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop selling stories to execute the plan, stay in budget and communicate retailer opportunities.
3. Retail Merchandising Management:
- Work with in-store reps to ensure they have accurate data and direction to make an impact.
- Create strategy to best leverage retail team and maintain budget.
4. E-Commerce Management:
- Setup, update, and maintain on-line content.
- Develop campaign strategies that drive on-line sales and ROI.
5. Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and create fact based selling stories.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
6. Promotional Activities:
- Coordinate and execute promotional activities, product launches, and events to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
7. Forecasting and Reporting:
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the Divisional Sales Manager.
- Analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor s degree in business administration, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in consumer-packed goods sales.
- Strong understanding of Kroger/Ralph s, and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Retail Link, SAP, and CRM software.
- Capacity and willingness to learn.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
