NOW HIRING IMMEDIATELY for Mold Technician in Gardner, MA.
Shifts Available:
1St Shift: 6:30 am- 3:00 pm
2nd Shift: 2:30 pm-11:00 pm
3rd Shift: 10:30 pm-7:00 am
*All shifts are subject to additional hours as needed*
Pay Range: $19.00-$23.00
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; plus 2 years of manufacturing experience, or a similar combination of education and work experience.
Ability to work under pressure with time-sensitive matters and respond quickly to get machinery back to working condition.
Knowledge of injection molding machines and basic processing.
Basic computer skills such as Word, Outlook, and knowledge of ERP Software.
Ability to effectively communicate using the basic English language.
Must have attention to detail and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment.
Duties:
Monitor molding machines and auxiliary equipment to ensure operating properly.
Troubleshoot problems by diagnosing the cause, making minor repairs, and cleaning mold and/or platens as necessary to prevent quality issues.
Adjust controls and/or machine settings as required to maintain optimum operation and quality of parts.
Perform machine start-up and shut-down as needed to meet the production schedule.
Perform preventative maintenance activities as scheduled or required.
Utilize correct measures to return machines and equipment to their manufacturing operational condition within a reasonable amount of time, including being able to troubleshoot and repair from OEM schematics.
Prepare and submit work orders for the Maintenance department to address more major issues or problems.
Other duties as assigned.
