We are seeking a talented Construction Manager to join our Construction Department! You will oversee all residential construction projects, from pre-contract to completion, ensuring exceptional quality and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and create accurate project proposals.
Manage project budgets and schedules and ensure code compliance throughout the construction process.
Oversee project teams, including subcontractors, to ensure quality workmanship and efficient project flow.
Conduct regular client meetings, address concerns promptly, and maintain positive client relationships.
Identify and proactively address potential project challenges and implement solutions to minimize delays.
Ensure all project documentation is completed accurately and filed according to company standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of experience in residential construction project management.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and collaborate with a team.
Proficient in construction industry terminology, standards, and best practices.
Working knowledge of building codes and permitting processes.
Experience with project management software is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly and uptoup to 100 lbs. occasionally.Mustoccasionally. Must be able to sit at a desk for at least 4 hours.Musthours. For on-site job inspections, you must be able to walk, bend, and crawl. Must be able to talk on the phone and work on a computer simultaneously.
