**Electro-Mechanical Assembler**

**The Space and Defense Group** is looking for **an Electro-Mechanical Assembler II** to join our Production Team.

**Here's what you can expect on a day-to-day basis:**

Perform mechanical work by assembling equipment in accordance with specified procedures in an assembly line

Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures

Use of basic hand tools, i.e. sockets, screwdriver, torque tools, wrenches ect

Keep records of production quantities and time

Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts

Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials

Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements

Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies

Verifies specifications by measuring completed component

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

**We'll be looking for you to have the following:**

* High School Diploma or GED

* 3-5 years or more of experience in a related industry

* Ability to learn quickly, work well under pressure, and lead others to do the same

* Experience with mechanical controls is preferred

* Basic/Intermediate computer skills

* Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.

* **This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.**
