The Retail & Merchandising Manager is responsible for fulfilling Valors Brand. They will oversee all retail operations of the school store and enhance school spirit by providing a variety of quality, Valor-branded merchandise to our Valor community. They will support merchandising school-wide . D eveloping business opportunities will be a priority, as well as working with a creative team to grow and expand existing operations. Maintaining a clear focus on financial stewardship and exceptional customer service is critical. The Retail & Merchandising Manager should have an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong eye for design, a gift for communication, a knack for organization, a love for people , and a desire honor God with a servants heart. This position will be part of the overall marketing and communications team and reports to the Director of Arts + Media and Marketing. ? Work with creative team to develop new entrepreneurial ventures ( i.e. life style brand) ? Participate in the broader ministry of Valor by contributing of time, talent and treasure beyond assigned role responsibilities * Bachelors degree in a related field
* Promotional products/branded marketing background strongly recommended
* Prior retail experience preferred
* Experience with e-commerce solutions (Shopify, OrderMyGear ) and the Adobe creative suite (Illustrator) preferred
* Previous Eagles Nest volunteer experience helpful, but not required
* Organizational, administrative and computer-based work experience
