Position: Director of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S)

Location: Denver, CO (Headquarters) or Remote

As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled Director of Environmental, Health and Safety who possesses expertise in developing and implementing a first-in-class environmental, health and safety program to keep all our employees and external partners safe while working in our environments and ensuring compliance with our EH&S standards. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of post-education experience working in the environmental, health, and safety field.

Position Overview:


We are seeking qualified candidates to oversee the development and execution of our environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) program, ensuring adherence to local and industry standards, regulations, and requirements. Responsibilities include:


  • Ensuring compliance with all local, state, federal, and company EH&S policies, maintaining records and documentation
  • Training employees and external consultants/contractors on Tract s EH&S policies
  • Reviewing contractors' safety plans for alignment with Tract s EH&S policies
  • Managing Tract s safety programs, including incident management and ESG policy
  • Implementing safety initiatives to minimize accidents and injuries while optimizing job site efficiency and employee well-being
  • Conducting safety audits, hazard assessments, and accident investigations
  • Contributing to the design of infrastructure and work procedures with health, safety, and environmental considerations
  • Fostering a strong safety culture among site leadership and team members
  • Assisting in the development and execution of site security plans


Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in EH&S
  • Bachelor's degree in safety, health sciences, or related field, with 5+ years of EH&S experience if lacking 10+ years of total experience
  • Experience in program development and implementation
  • Proficiency in incident reporting and investigation


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in a mission-critical environment
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70E, federal regulations, and environmental permitting
  • EHS certifications from BCSP or equivalent
  • Understanding of procedure-based work

This position can be Remote or Hybrid from our headquarters in Denver, Colorado.

Expected Salary Range: $140,000-$180,000 plus Bonus
