**JOB SUMMARY**
This is a Tuesday through Saturday scheduled position. The primary function of the Office Assistant/Cashier is to collect payments from customers for all department sand to scan and verify all documents are retained in our scanning programs.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. Greet all visitors in a pleasant and helpful manner.
2. Take payments from customers in the form of cash, check or credit card, etc. and balance cash drawer.
3. Cashier will prepare cash deposit on Excel spreadsheet.
4. Cashier will back up receptionist on phones by answering phone promptly in a courteous and helpful manner, transfer calls, and where appropriate take messages or determine if someone else can help them.
5. Scanning all parts invoices, repair orders, purchase orders, deposits, etc into the Docuware system for the Las Vegas District.
6. Verify all documents are scanned correctly and are retained in the system.
7. Other duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
This person must be professional, courteous, helpful, and friendly with excellent communication skills.
This position requires someone who is extremely reliable.
Must have a High School diploma or the equivalent.
Typing, ten key and data entry skills a plus.
Will be subject to a background and credit history check.
**WORKING CONDITIONS**
The Cashier-Document Scanner works indoors, primarily at a desk but also moves about the dealership facility to communicate with the dealer, managers, employees and customers. He/she must bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and feel. He/she will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, paint and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
