Inspector/Quality Control


Job Details

A Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements. Quality Inspector duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests and identifying defects.

Responsibilities:
Execute a wide range of sorting and inspection tasks, encompassing visual and tactile inspections, or take charge of startup, operation, changeover, shutdown, and preventive maintenance of designated equipment.
Safely and efficiently operate all assigned equipment in adherence to the company's safety protocols.
Perform manual duties, including loading and supplying items to the production line and loading conveyors.
Ability to undergo training for the use of various inspection tools and measuring equipment as necessary.
Contribute to general plant, area, production line, and facility cleanup following the 5S methodology.
Provide accurate and comprehensive information for all required paperwork.
Ability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
While experience in quality, sorting, inspection, containment, or production is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Essential skills in basic math, reading, and comprehension.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
High School Graduate
Immediate availability to commence work.
Proven track record of reliability and dependability.
Must be able to commute to different locations (Opelika, West Point, Lagrange)
Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
Possession of a valid driver?s license is mandatory.
Flexibility to work varying schedules.
Stand, walk, or sit throughout the entire shift, which may last up to 12 hours.
May involve repetitively lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds during the shift.
Work in varying climatic conditions for the entire duration of the shift.
