SUMMARY

Responsible for understanding, meeting and exceeding customers needs to create value for the customer throughout the order-to-invoice process. Through direct communication with the customer, the incumbent will maintain customer accounts and act in a cooperative and responsible manner to ensure a customer rapport that will encourage the growth of sales and value-added services.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Responsible for preparing quotations, proposals, and accurate pricing for standard products and components thereof. This includes assisting with the determination of proper part numbers based on project details and information provided by the Client or internal Service Team staff.


Proactively suggest additional opportunities/components/services to Clients during each inquiry to reach sales targets and ensure Client operational ability is protected via sound parts stores and inventory.


Assists Clients on selection of replacement components, spare parts, and service and provides corresponding pricing via formal sales quotations.


Handles incoming client inquiries, including but not limited to: RFQ s, service support requests, technical and commercial guidance, etc.


Initiates sales calls to current and potential Clients to meet and exceed annual Sales Quotas.


Ensures appropriate follow-up on leads from marketing/advertising and trade shows


Documents all sales activity and maintains account management information in designated software program (i.e. Salesforce)


Obtains pricing, delivery, and shipping information for vendors for outside buy items where/when required.


Provides exceptional customer service on processing orders resulting from quotations in assuring all commercial terms, equipment requirements, and pricing is based on DNWT policies, and the quotation submitted


Occasional travel, training events, and/or participation in trade shows may be required



QUALIFICATIONS

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with SAP and Salesforce preferred

Ability to understand and interpret technical documents and drawings preferred



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma and 1-3 years related technical sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
