**Head Chef**
**Woodland** **Grove Care Home (Loughton) a part of Oakland Care is recruiting for an experienced Head Chef** **At Oakland Care, we care Live, love and be loved**

Our Head Chefs are invaluable to our services and you will therefore play a key role in ensuring that the Kitchen Department is run smoothly and that every staff member is aware of what is expected of them.
**Location:** Woodland Grove Care Home
**Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Salary:** 28,000 per annum - 30,000 per annum
**Contract:** Permanent
* Designing delicious menus for our residents, at all times considering residents individual preferences and dietary requirements
* Preparing and serving meals
* Guiding, directing and coaching kitchen staff
* Working closely with and line managing Chefs & Kitchen assistants
* Stock control; stock replenishing/ordering
* Managing the Food Safety and H&S requirements and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and up to date
**Ideally you would have experience in working as a Head Chef in a setting where you had to deal with different dietary requirements. In addition, we expect that you hold all the relevant qualifications and Food Hygiene Certificates and that you are aware of all the relevant regulations. It is important that you have the right 'can do' attitude and willingness to work with us in ensuring we support our residents with the best quality service.**
