Documentation Technician - Entry-level

Immediate opportunity for a Documentation Technician to support a long-term, project need with a leading, global pharmaceutical company located in Ridgefield, NJ. Role will largely entail administrative tasks including scanning documents, creating new documents, uploading forms, etc.


Position Type: Contract position for 1 year

Schedule/Shift: 1st shift, Mon.-Fri., 8am-4pm EST

Location: Ridgefield NJ, 100% onsite


Position Overview: Will use MS Word heavily, light MS Excel, moving forms from SOPs and creating new documents, using Qualipso to upload forms, and other duties. May move on to assisting with electronic documentation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Track and review change control documentation. Assist with the editing of quality documents (SOPs, guidelines, validation master plans, etc.) to ensure compliance with regulator requirements.
  • Must be able to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Must possess sound interpersonal and information gathering skills, be able to relate well to others at all levels throughout the organization and have the ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
  • Prepare and/or maintain documentation pertaining to programming, systems operation, and user documentation.
  • Plan, write, and maintain systems and user support documentation efforts; including online help screens.
  • Knowledgeable of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job


Qualifications:

  • Associates degree (AA/AS)
  • One (1) to three (3) years' experience in office / administrative environment
  • Strong MS Word skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
