Position Summary
The Senior Social Media Manager will be instrumental in creating engaging social media content for our growing brand. They will assist the VP Brand & Creative with defining the social strategy, bringing it to life in creative ways, and optimizing the content for continual improvement.The content creator will be responsible for developing high-quality copy for websites, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms. To do so, they will learn all about and make significant contributions to Nothing Bundt Cakes' branding and style guide to efficiently maximize the impact of content they generate. They will understand the successes and challenges of content from our market competitors and will share their learnings with coworkers and stakeholders to consistently deliver excellence.
The ideal candidate will have experience in both strategy and content creation including analytics and data insights.
Objectives of this role:
- Develop marketing and branding presence throughout all channels
- Maximize consumer engagement with marketing content
- Share insights on competitor marketing content
- Improve search engine optimization (SEO) presence
- Widen marketing reach
Accountabilities/Duties:- Ideate, capture and post visual content: including photos, memes, videos and graphics.
- Deep understanding of social platforms:create impactful content and expand distribution.
- Staying on top of trends: to grow brand reach and presence with culturally relevant content
- Creative storytelling: by creating unique and engaging content across channels
- Cross-team collaboration: working with several teams on story development or receive feedback.
- Familiarity with key KPIs: performance reporting to optimize and show ROI.

Education/Certifications and Work Experience Requirements- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a related field
- Experience uploading content to various content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Shopify, Wix, XSitePro etc.
