We are seeking an On Call Medical Assistant within an Occupational Health Clinic! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to supplement their current job or build experience in Occupational Health. We offer weekly pay up to $35/hour and benefits!
Primary Job Duties:
- Performs a variety of screening tests within scope of license or certification, including but not limited to:
- Vision testing (visual acuity, color and depth perception), informs employees of recommended actions
- Audiometric testing; informs employees of recommended actions
- Preforms X-Rays
- Collects and prepares blood and urine specimens for internal and external analysis
- Conduct breath alcohol and/or collect urine drug screen
- Performs ancillary tests such as vital signs, ECG, PFTs, and administration of immunizations.
- Provides discharge instructions and inputs data into the employee's medical record, adhering to confidentiality requirements.
- Operates, maintains, calibrates testing equipment. Maintains documentation related to testing equipment
- May be assigned to or assist with Administrative duties (as outlined in Administrative Support Job Description) as needed
