Their studio is seeking an extraordinary Senior Technical Designer who loves working in a fast-paced environment who is not afraid of hard work and can help drive our function and further raise our Design profile! You will develop and effectively communicate high quality concept designs for pitches for projects, tenders and potential clients and then lead the way by coordinating project consultants on the design outputs.
What you're responsible for?
-Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with
structural, MEP, lighting, AV, civil consultants etc.
-Lead communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials
-Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges
-Construction Documentation and Quality Control Review
-Maintain project manual and specifications
-Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI s during
construction Provide QA/QC for all projects.
-Mentor staffs
Your qualifications
Bachelor s or master s degree in Architecture
8+ years of experience in a commercial design firm; focusing on base building and interior architecture
Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures
Collaborate with project designers to refine and develop buildable solutions
Develop and coordinate technical documents, including Construction Documents
Excels in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Technical knowledge, skills, or other requirements
LEED accreditation preferred
Experience with Revit, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3dMax, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign,
Illustrator), and MS Office
