My client is a top hedge fund based in Greenwich, CT. They are looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience to join their Financing team as a Portfolio Financing Specialist. The role will oversee a broad spectrum of financing arrangements across their platform, including daily liquidity.
This is a hybrid role with a 3 or 4 days per week in office requirement
Responsibilities Include:
Manage the funds liquidity
Work with custodians daily in support of the funds various financing structures
Prepare weekly reporting around fund liquidity
Assist with securities lending relationships and execute financing transactions
Ensure debt and cash are utilized efficiently across multiple funds.
Skills and Requirements:
2-3 years of experience at an asset manager, hedge fund, bank or fund administrator
Direct experience with prime brokerage margin finance, swap, repo, securities lending, or general fund finance
Strong Excel skills
Ability to analyze complex data sets.
Familiarity with liquidity management, general fund finance, and credit products
Must possess the ability and willingness to be self-sufficient at times
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
