SAP Business Analyst
Job Overview:
SolomonEdwards is seeking an experienced SAP ECC Business Analyst, ideally with an expertise in Grants (GM) and Funds Management (FM) modules, to support the Technical PMO group at our client as they go through an upgrade to SAP ECC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the implementation and optimization of SAP solutions while focusing on government & financial processes. - LOCATION: metro Washington, DC area preferred
- HOURS: EST Business Hours required
- DURATION: 6-12 months, with possibility for extension
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP ECC GM and FM modules, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, analyze processes, and design solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Configure SAP ECC GM and FM modules to meet specific business needs, ensuring proper integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Work closely with technical teams to oversee and validate customizations, ensuring they align with business requirements and adhere to SAP best practices.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for SAP ECC implementations, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Address and resolve any issues identified during testing phases, ensuring a smooth transition to production.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and support teams, ensuring a thorough understanding of GM and FM module functionalities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the GM and FM modules.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external consultants, to ensure successful SAP ECC implementations.
- Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- SAP ECC experience
- Minimum of 5 years of Business Analysis experience
- Bachelor s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Government and Financial Management processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC implementation projects, including configuration and customization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP GM and FM modules.
- Previous experience working in government or public sector organizations.
Rate $65-$85 per hour W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
