Responsibilities are included but not limited to:Develop processes that will maximize safety, quality, productivity and stewardship.Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers' expectationsBe responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shippingMonitor operations and trigger corrective actions as neededAbility to manage safety programs that help ensure the health and well-being of employees and the general public.Must be able to recognize, correct and/or report unsafe conditions.Understand and follow established product quality procedures and guidelines to insure customers are receiving expected quality and purity of productRecognize that each task can be amended and refined for the betterment of the employee and/or company and work toward that improvementProvide training and educational materials to the staff and front line team as necessary.Achieve a level of knowledge to assure the plant is obtaining the highest level of productivity and quality.Understanding of Human Resources principles of hiring, reviewing, terminating, promoting, directing, supervising, and motivating plant personnelBuild a trusting relationship with the entire workgroup, through recruiting, developing, managing and leading the entire plant team.Develop and execute an effective capital & repair equipment plan that replaces older plant assets as needed.
