MIELKE Mechanical, Inc. is currently searching for a full-time Estimator to join their team in Tampa, Florida. The primary purpose of this position is to identify available projects to bid that maximizes our chances for success, prepare and submit accurate estimates, follow-up to increase proposal acceptance, and develop client relationships.

- Pay: $60,000 $100,000/year, offer dependent on experience
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible schedule
- 8-hour shift
The right candidate will have:
- Previous experience with commercial mechanical estimating required
- Strong working knowledge of Windows & related computer systems
- Strong working knowledge of Quickpen estimating software
- Ability to work successfully with limited supervision
- Must be detail oriented, thorough & accurate
- Ability to recognize needs, develop solutions and implement
Our Estimator will:
- Prepare estimates using the best possible procedures and technology to ensure maximum efficiency & productivity
- Review project documents & insuring provisions are made to comply with requirements
- Coordinate with Pre-construction Assistant to ensure their tasks are being completed
- Identify new bidding opportunities
- Deliver proposals and follow up with clients
- Perform cost analysis for the operations team as necessary
- Participate in post job review meetings and perform analysis of actual costs versus estimated costs
