Responsibilities
* Teach clients proper technique for all exercises, especially those requiring more complex equipment, to reduce injury risk
* Customize training routines to assist clients in achieving their fitness goals while staying within their current physical capabilities
* Maintain all gym standards and safety requirements to ensure that clients are safe and comfortable while working out
* Ensure all workout programs are appropriate for each client by doing individualized fitness evaluations
* Revise fitness plans based on clients progress toward set goals
Qualifications
* 1 to 2 Years of programming design and training experience
* Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
* Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and coworkers
* Outstanding time management and organizational skills
* College degree, preferably, in Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Exercise science preferred
* Prior experience with group fitness is a plus
* Nationally recognized personal training certification preferred (ACE, ACSM, NASM, NATA, NSCA, NPTI, ISSA)
* CPR/AED Certification
* Ability to motivate and coach 35+ sessions per week
