Uprite Construction is a leading construction firm in California, dedicated to crafting structures that embody excellence and innovation. As we pave the path of modern construction, we are on the lookout for a skilled Project Engineer who can translate architectural dreams into concrete realities.
What You'll Do:
- Assist the Project Manager in preliminary planning, ensuring all aspects of the project align with the company's objectives.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including blueprints, designs, and change orders.
- Work closely with the on-site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and efficient project execution.
- Engage in quality assurance and quality control, ensuring the construction process adheres to the company and regulatory standards.
- Regularly visit project sites to oversee progress, ensuring adherence to timeframes and quality standards.
- Ensure materials and resources are available and ordered timely to avoid project delays.
- Stay updated on California construction regulations, ensuring all projects comply with state standards and guidelines.
- Work with teams post-project to analyze what went well and areas of improvement for future projects.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably in the construction sector.
- Knowledge of construction software, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, ensuring smooth coordination with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex projects and timelines.
- Up-to-date knowledge of California construction regulations and standards.
- Keen attention to detail, ensuring precision in all aspects of project execution.
