Indiana Donor Network is looking for an Event and Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. This position assists in the planning and execution of events to raise awareness of donation and transplantation as well as raise funds for Indiana Donor Network Foundation. While the type of events and the audiences for those events vary, the person in this role will directly support events and activations varying from large to small.

The Event Coordinator will be a member of the Community Development with a focus on executing and implementing events and activations in differing locations. This team member will also support other team members as needed as they provide educational and inspirational events to other audiences, such as funeral directors, coroners, families, hospital staff and team members.

Some of the key result areas include:

  • Supports corporate and foundation special events that are efficient and impactful to raise dollars to support key initiatives.
  • Assists with sponsorship and fundraising efforts for Indiana Donor Network Foundation.
  • Assists with logistics and pre-planning for events in the field, including all coordination and execution from the moment the program is launched through onsite support day of the event and after-event follow-up.
  • Supports events for internal clients as needed.
  • Participates on projects or committees that enhance or improve the overall success or culture of the organization.


Qualifications

This position requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent of education and experience is preferred. A minimum of two years of event coordination and execution is required. Project management and marketing and communications program experience is a plus. Experience using the Classy platform is a plus.
