Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Gather and prepare all necessary documentation for the loan package.
- Complete proper due-diligence on any/all loan conditions.
- Actively communicate with necessary 3rd parties to satisfy loan approval conditions.
- Determine any issues early in the process and communicate them to appropriate departments/parties to complete the loan in a timely manner.
- Coordinate closing requests received from Sales and prioritize workflow so loans close on-time.
- Act as point of contact between Loan Officers and Underwriters.
- Ensure you comply with the established regulations and law requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service to borrower, loan officer, vendors, and other interested parties.
- Maintain current knowledge about the industry and changing market trends.
- Stay current with federal, state regulations, policies, and industry trends.
Qualifications (Knowledge & Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as a mortgage loan processor required.
- 2+ years of experience processing full-document loans.
- In-depth knowledge of loan documents loan processes, and closing procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work with strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly detail oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, goal-oriented environment.
