**Position Summary:** Supports the Mission, Vision and Values of the Hospital. Contributes to team integration and patient focused care by providing discharge/cleaning services following infection control and cleaning protocols. Operates as member of bedmaker team to create most efficient thru put times for cleaning discharge beds. Contributes to efficient operation of nursing units and housekeeping department by ensuring supplies, equipment and linen are available for use on all units. **Essential Functions and Responsibilities:**
- Supports the Mission and Vision of McLaren Port Huron through behaviors that reflect and integrate our values, as evidenced by observation, peer and customer feedback.
- As a member of the unit-specific integration team, works in conjunction with patient focused care performing patient discharge cleaning, functions following infection control and cleaning protocols.
- Contributes to the efficient operation of nursing units as well as to the housekeeping department by ensuring supplies, equipment and linen are available for use on the units.
- Operates as independent unit / team member as evidenced by supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as required and directed.
