Rapid7 is looking for an experienced Procurement leader to join a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for leading all Procurement efforts and collaborating cross functionally to identify long-term strategy to ensure Rapid7 s success.About the RoleYou will manage the centralized sourcing and entire end-to-end process, i.e., demand management via stakeholder management, supply analysis/strategy, supplier identification, sourcing execution (i.e., RFP), contract negotiation, delivery planning and monitoring, purchase execution and payment, and ongoing performance management and improvement.In this role, you will:Manage our organizational procurement strategy, best-practice-based processes and short, mid, and long-term goals and objectivesManage, coach and lead team of 2 analystsNegotiate terms and conditions for new and renewed contracts, working with our legal and other internal teams to define the must haves.Identify and realization of cost-saving / cost-reduction and cost-avoidance opportunitiesLead major Supplier Contract/ Price negotiations as needed in partnership with cross functional business partnersPrepare and analyze RF(x) events Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, while overseeing the performance of vendors and ensuring they meet or exceed expectationsDevelop of benchmarks and scorecards to be used for continuous vendor improvementPartner with InfoSec and Legal on Third Party Risk Program and make recommendations on 3rd Party Onboarding processEnsure invoice accuracy and compliance with contract / pricing / payment terms and take corrective actions as requiredBenchmark spending and vendor data to align with best practices and identify areas to drive more efficient spendThe skills you ll bring include:10+ years of experience with 5 or more years in a Leadership roleExcellent leadership skills including the ability to think critically and independently, communicate effectively, and personal integrityStrong negotiation skillsAbility to deliver results with limited oversight and supervisionUnderstanding of industry-standard Procurement best practices and general procurement regulationsExceptional communication skills with the ability to influence decision makingWe know that the best ideas and solutions come from multi-dimensional teams.
