About the Role:


The IT department is looking for a Full-Time IT Support. As an IT Support, you will be primarily responsible for In-depth technical support, the ideal candidate will be able to identify daily priorities, be able to work with little supervision, and must install, modify, and troubleshoot computer and printer hardware/software to maintain optimal functionality. Must be experience in addressing day-to-day help desk inquiries from employees, providing timely resolutions and technical guidance.


What You Will Do:


Provides technical support and resolves problems of a moderately complex nature.

Performs general problem solving and assistance on diverse software applications and hardware systems.

Performs varied technical assistance and maintenance duties; maintains and updates record keeping system; documents projects; writes and maintains user instructions.

Performs the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, workstations and other related equipment and devices.

Coordinate with vendors and our IT Department to ensure the smooth operation of network infrastructure, workstations, and related software.

Assist the Director of IT in implementing requests or proposals and in determining information systems needs assessments, research and development initiatives and helps in the implementation of new technologies.

Utilize statistical methods and software tools to analyze data sets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights.

Performs moderately advanced technological systems support, maintenance, and testing for proper upkeep of systems.

Provides technical support and resolves problems of a moderately complex nature which may include troubleshooting and resolve moderately complex system hardware, software, and network failures and conflicts.

Gather, clean, and organize data from various sources including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.

Create clear and compelling data visualizations such as charts, graphs, and dashboards to effectively communicate findings and trends.

Prepare and present reports summarizing key findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers.

Collaborates individual and/or group instruction and training to employees on new or updated technologies.

Collaborate on technology projects with large scope and broad organizational impact.

Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to technology, equipment, applicable laws, regulations, standards and/or systems.

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

A solid understanding of Windows Operating Systems and computing environments

Experience with Remote Systems Administration

Proficient in Excel and Power Bi

Knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting

Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.

Ability to perform preventive maintenance on systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.

Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.

Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware, software, and/or network solutions.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to multi-task and take on new responsibilities as the business expands.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Ability to think outside the box.

Strong Excel skills.

Good sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.

Pay Range: $50,000 - $75,000 based on experience and qualifications + Bonus pay.


This position is in the Hauppauge, NY office Monday Friday.
