**Warehouse - Sanitation Worker 3rd shift**

Columbus, OH, USA Req #1882 Friday, February 25, 2022 **Summary** : Clean, wash and sanitize meat, seafood and poultry processing areas.. Maintain cleanliness of work space by performing the following duties.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Prep Processing room for washing

- Power down machines using appropriate procedures

- Break down equipment for cleaning.

- Remove cardboard, trash bags, inedible from processing rooms

- Use high and low pressure water wash systems with water temperature between 120-140F

- Use proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following MSDS procedures

- Ability to read labels for chemical identification

**Education/Experience:**

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Language Ability:**

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

**Math Ability:**

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and/or weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Ability to read film specifications

**Reasoning Ability:**

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
