POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for oversight and strategic direction of all Corporate Accounting and Cash Management for INW. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and has a strong interface with the Chairman/CEO, Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Private equity sponsors, and the executive leadership team.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

May supervise staff directly and indirectly. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.


LOCATION:

This position will be located at our headquarters in Farmington, UT. There are six operating divisions that span a footprint exceeding 1,500,000 sq. ft. both domestically and internationally. Candidates must have the capability to work from remote location(s) and independently, as needed. Travel requirements dependent on business needs; primarily domestic travel.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties, as required.


  • This position has broad responsibilities to include Controllership and Treasury/Cash management functions for the company. The scope of this position includes playing a strong leadership role in assisting the corporate executive leadership team in achieving business objectives.
  • Ownership and accountability for accounting and reporting, development and implementation of company accounting policies and practices to ensure compliance with US GAAP, and International accounting standards, and stewardship over company assets.
  • Develop processes and ensure external financial reporting is in compliance with US GAAP / SEC and external party requirements (creditors, shareholders and private equity owners.)
  • Create and maintain an effective and cost-efficient internal controls environment. Create and maintain corporate accounting policies and procedures to drive accounting and reporting consistency and controls compliance for the organization.
  • Provide analyses and interpretation of technical accounting pronouncements including new US GAAP and SEC rulings, ensuring new accounting policies are implemented across the organization.
  • Direct management of the company s tax reporting and compliance activities and tax planning strategies through coordination with the company s external tax advisor (Deloitte).
  • Effectively manage the relationship with the company s external audit provider (Deloitte).
  • Oversight of the company s cash flows and liquidity position to include managing daily liquidity requirements to minimize outstanding balances, interest expenses.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all creditors financial covenants including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements; coordinate efforts with private equity partners in the negotiation of financial terms and covenants with creditors, when needed.
  • Maintain a strong, open, and communicative relationship with the company s credit parties (and vendors and customers, as appropriate).
  • Participate in the due diligence process for potential M&A activities and integration activities, when required. Participate in any future potential sale processes to include due diligence requests, Quality of Earnings presentations, and information memorandum.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required.
  • 10+ years combined experience in public accounting and industrial manufacturing experience in accounting/finance roles, prior private equity experience preferred.
  • Previous experience managing Treasury and Cash Management activities including creditor relationship and agreements, reporting and financial covenant requirements.
  • Exceptional corporate accounting knowledge including financial reporting (US GAAP, tax), capital markets and equity financing.
  • Prior experience with corporate accounting for acquisitions and divestitures.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP systems in a regulated environment. Experience with JD Edwards preferred.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the dietary supplement industry, such as FDA regulations and GMP standards.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align financial initiatives with business objectives and drive organizational change.
  • Demonstrates initiative and follow-through with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence strategic decision-making at the senior leadership level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Must have team building and leadership skills.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in English in order to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit; use hands, talk and hear. The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May regularly work within office and warehouse environments. Occasionally subject to high noise levels where hearing protection is required, and all personnel protective equipment is required. Occasionally subject to atmospheric conditions, such as fumes, odors, powders, dust and other particles
