We're on the lookout for a skilled Product Owner to join our dynamic team at Global Workforce Experts, as part of the eTeam Group of Companies. eTeam is a global and innovative leader in the Staffing Industry working with 75% of Fortune 500 companies and managing revenues of more than $500M a year. As a Product Owner, you'll be instrumental in steering the development and deployment of cutting-edge solutions tailored to our clients' evolving needs. Working closely with diverse teams including product management, sales, engineering, design, and customer success, you'll shape product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure seamless product launches.

Your approach is strategic foremost, tactical when needed, with a relentless focus on iteration, growth, and enhancing product efficiency. Crucially, you excel at nurturing and empowering teams to drive success. We are looking for someone with HRTech industry experience.


Key Responsibilities:


Product Vision and Strategy:

Work closely with the product management team to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the company's goals and market trends. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather feedback from customers to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features.


Requirements Gathering and Prioritization:

Elicit, analyze, and document detailed product requirements from stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and subject matter experts. Prioritize features and user stories based on business value, technical feasibility, and user feedback, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and resource constraints.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA teams to translate requirements into actionable development tasks, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Facilitate communication and foster a collaborative environment across cross-functional teams to ensure clarity of requirements, resolve issues, and drive consensus on product decisions.


Release Planning and Execution:

Own the product backlog, groom user stories, and prioritize work for each sprint, ensuring a balanced focus on new features, enhancements, and technical debt. Work closely with engineering and QA teams to plan and execute product releases, including sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.


Product Quality and User Experience:

Champion a user-centric approach to product development, ensuring that the product delivers exceptional value and a seamless user experience. Define and track key product metrics and KPIs to measure product performance, user engagement, and client satisfaction, iterating on the product based on data-driven insights. Be the voice of the client and users to ensure the applications capabilities are simple to use and meet their needs. Take the lead on creating low fidelity UI mockups, high-level process flows, story maps, and customer journey maps.

Ensure capabilities are configurable to meeting many clients variable needs.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field. A master's degree is a plus.


3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role building B2B SaaS technology for Staffing and/or HRTech industry in US and EU. Specific knowledge of VMS, FMS, Contingent Workforce Management, IC Compliance, Payroll software are desirable.


Strong understanding of agile methodologies, product management best practices, and software development processes.


Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software products from concept to launch, with a focus on meeting customer needs and business objectives.


Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate product requirements, influence stakeholders, and build consensus across teams.


Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive informed product decisions.

An active, hands-on approach, with a willingness to tackle any task, no matter how small. Embraces teamwork as a key to addressing challenging problems collaboratively. Strikes the right balance between confidence and humility.


Experience working with JIRA or other agile project management tools is desirable.
