Position Summary:

The Land Development Manager will oversee the team responsible for research of land and regulatory data across multiple states and municipalities. Additionally, this team is responsible for evaluation of site level infrastructure and works with various departments to determine the best workflows in the organization and help communicate relevant information between departments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership/Management and workforce optimization
  • Training and educating coworkers, helping team members develop their skills
  • Researching government regulations and determining how they apply to EV development
  • Working with cross-functional departments and leadership to determine opportunities for process improvement on a continual basis
  • Organization of team resources to meet regular reoccurring deadlines
  • Player-coach mentality: willing to help with all individual processes performed by the team on an as needed basis


Examples of Team Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Researching optimal sites to pursue based on RFPs
  • Mapping of potential and existing sites using ArcGIS
  • Working with the operations group to determine the best placement of EV equipment
  • Using various resources to identify demographic data and to evaluate potential sites
  • Preparation of site exhibits and proposal letters in accordance with request for proposals
  • Researching surface ownership and pulling deed and plat records from public sources
  • Various other data entry and data management responsibilities


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in business, management, or related field preferred
  • Experience leading/managing teams using quantitative methods
  • Willingness to learn new software systems and skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Analytical skills when reading contracts or government regulations
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience researching county land records a plus
  • Experience with ArcGIS a plus
