Job purpose

This job requires strong computer and customer service skills in conjunction with a solid knowledge in construction equipment and aggregate parts. This position serves with both internal and external customers as must as have the ability to keep a calm during stressful high-call volume and other demanding situations.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Loads, unloads and moves materials within or near warehouse plant or worksite.
  • Examines goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipments against bill of lading, invoices, and other records.
  • Route incoming shipments/goods to respective departments.
  • Counts and compares quantity and identification numbers of units against order.
  • Reads work order or follows oral instructions
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or fork lift
  • Prepares products for shipment
  • Prepares identifying information/ shipping instructions on containers
  • Pulls stock orders
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior equipment/automotive parts experience a plus but not essential as training will be provided
  • Proficient utilizing computers including Microsoft products
  • Bi-Lingual, English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment drug screen, background check, including MVR, and pre-employment physical.
Working conditions
  • This position requires sitting, stooping, kneeling, pushing, climbing, moving, and reaching/working overhead.
  • Ability to safely lift 60 lbs.
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely.
  • This position is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials, and moderate noise levels. Appropriate PPE gear must be worn as required.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment WorkSTEPS physical.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected hourly range for this Colorado position is between 19.00-$25.00 an hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
