Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Healing Minds Psychiatry and Mental Wellness, LLC. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing direct patient care, conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans. This role is virtual with some in person in Toms River, NJ.

Qualifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
• Board certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health nursing
• Experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to prescribe medications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach
• Experience in telepsychiatry is a plus
