Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Construction Manager at Coastal Premier Homes located in Mount Pleasant, SC. The Assistant Construction Manager will assist in all aspects of construction projects, from planning through closeout, to ensure that time-sensitive deadlines and budgetary constraints are met. Duties will include coordinating and supervising contractors and tradespeople, communicating with clients and stakeholders, monitoring timelines and schedules, and developing and revising project plans to keep projects on track.

Qualifications
  • Experience in construction management, including knowledge of construction methods, practices, and procedures, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other drawings
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and team members, both orally and in writing
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including experience managing schedules and budgets, and coordinating with multiple parties and stakeholders
  • Computer skills, including proficiency with project management software, spreadsheets, and word processing software
  • Bachelor s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, including experience in project management, superintending, or related roles
  • Experience with residential construction is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
