Sustana is the leading manufacture of sustainably produced, premium recycled fiber and paper, utilizing post-consumer material to create high-quality, low carbon footprint products. We have 12 different locations across North America in three different segments of the pulp and paper industry (Paper, Fiber and Recovery). The De Pere mill has specialized in the production of fiber bale, with the capability of producing 450 tons per day of quality sustainable fiber. Our premium 100% sustainable recycled fibers are the ingredient within everyday products such as coffee cups, sandwich wraps, printing papers and more.

Location: Based in DePere, WI and requiring minimal domestic and international travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, the incumbent of the role will ensure supply continuity and cost competitiveness across supply chain. Also, he will own the SIOP process and will be responsible of the Sales and Operations planning process, ensuring operating and resource plans are available to support the Service Offer at the lowest cost.


More specifically:


  • Analysis of the Order to Cash process to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead the operational and administrative functions of the Supply Chain team to achieve streamlined, highly efficient production and inventory planning and customer fulfillment
  • Convert sales forecasts to a supply plan to maximize customer service and optimize production, distribution, and working capital expense
  • Optimize plant, warehouse, and customer consigned inventory by setting stock levels based on rules to serve
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring that inventory reconciliation is done in accordance with corporate guidelines and to improve turnover rates
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and manage supporting compliance activities
  • Ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and meet pre-established goals
  • Communicate system changes and issues to relevant stakeholders
  • Serve as Gate-Keeper for new product introduction
  • Lead new workflow implementation/process harmonization
  • Collaborate with IT and provide Project Leadership for systems integration and MES troubleshooting


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Systems Engineering, or similar.
  • 10+ years of industrial experperience with an expertise in Purchasing, Planning, Logistics and Customer Service are important.
  • Self-starter plus demonstrated effectiveness in strategic thinking with a keen focus on measurable results and KPI management.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, analytics, problem solving, conflict resolution, presentation, verbal and written communication.
  • Business acumen, situational leadership style, processes and total quality orientation, and strategic planning skill are essential.
  • Able to flex between leadership summaries and details, measuring the need for communication amongst a variety of audiences.
  • Production experience is highly desirable.
