Creative Planning Business Services has partnered with Additional Testing to search for a Therapist Evaluator. This is a remote position.


Position Overview: Additional Testing, Inc. in Roseville, MN, is seeking a qualified Therapist/Evaluator to join our team to conduct chemical health assessments and anger management assessments for judicial clients, civil cases, divorce proceedings, child custody disputes, and other related legal matters. The ideal candidate will be licensed as an LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), with experience in conducting comprehensive assessments and providing therapeutic interventions.


Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough chemical health assessments and anger management assessments for clients involved in judicial proceedings, civil cases, divorce, child custody disputes, and related legal matters.
  2. Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to gather relevant information about clients' substance use patterns, mental health history, interpersonal relationships, and anger management issues.
  3. Prepare detailed written reports summarizing assessment findings, diagnostic impressions, and treatment recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
  4. Collaborate with legal professionals, probation officers, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive assessment and treatment planning for clients involved in legal proceedings.
  5. Co-facilitate education and therapeutic groups focusing on topics such as substance abuse prevention, anger management, coping skills, and interpersonal communication.
  6. Provide individual and group counseling services to clients, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities and techniques tailored to their unique needs and treatment goals.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  8. Participate in regular supervision, case consultations, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of best practices in the field.



Qualifications:

Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure as an LADC, LMFT, LPC, or LPCC in the state of practice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex clinical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and adherence to professional codes of Experience conducting chemical health assessments, anger management assessments, and diagnostic evaluations in a clinical or forensic setting.
  • Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and proficiency in formulating accurate diagnostic impressions based on assessment data.
