Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Transportation Operations Supervisor, ride a school bus to provide safe and secure transportation for students with physical, medical, educational and emotional needs; assist drivers in the loading, unloading and securing of handicapped students.
Requirements / Qualifications
You're an excellent candidate for our Bus Attendant position, if you have a passion for working with children, enjoy working in a team, and you possess the following qualifications and competencies:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or equivalent, and experience working with children with physical and/or emotional disabilities.

Located in east San Diego County. The district is 66.3 square miles in size, and serves elementary students in grades K-8 feeding into the Grossmont Union High School District. The district has approximately 16,600 students, plus approximately 800 preschool students, with 26 schools (6 middle schools, 19 elementary schools and 1 preschool). The District is largely urban in nature with some rural areas. Regardless of what our employees' needs are, we meet them with the personalized attention only a caring school district can provide.
