Our thriving and expanding pain division in Charlotte is seeking an anesthesia-trained pain physician to join our exceptional team at Integrative Spine & Pain with a focus on in-office injections and procedures.
Charlotte, the largest city in North Carolina, is a thriving and expanding metropolitan city. This position is available in the beautiful Arboretum area and in partnership with our Charlotte leader, Dr. Ankur Manvar. Integrative Pain & Spine opened its doors just two years ago, and we are excited to grow our presence in Charlotte with the expansion of this new clinic.

Scheduling
Full-time, exempt. Monday Friday, clinic hours. No nights, weekends, major holidays, or call. Dream schedule with trained support staff.
Job Summary:
The pain physician treats and monitors chronic and acute pain in patients. The pain physician will consider the patient's medical history and healthcare record and use a variety of interventional pain techniques to treat the symptoms. Pain techniques include but are not limited to joint injections of the spine, neck, joints, and head etc. The physician will use multi modal techniques and some medication management for ongoing pain management.
The pain physician will work with a robust team of clinical and non-clinical support staff to include receptionists, medical assistants, and nurses as well as work with partners in the pain division. The physician is responsible for interacting and collaborating with other physicians and partners throughout the practice. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that optimize patient outcomes.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as imaging studies and tests, to aid in diagnosis.
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and interventions to manage pain effectively.
- Perform interventional procedures, such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and radiofrequency ablation, as appropriate.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient response and progress.
- Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Maintain excellent communication with patients, families, and referring providers.
- Collaborate with other pain clinics within the practice
- Partner with the practices third parties and affiliates on new healthcare laws, billing, marketing etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine (anesthesiology-trained strongly preferred)
- Valid North Carolina License.
- Current DEA License.
- Proficiency in performing interventional pain procedures.
